This program is guaranteed to get you in the best riding shape of your life while overcoming the time and motivation hurdles faced by so many riders. Created by the world’s premier mountain bike strength and conditioning coach James Wilson, the program includes 8 intense 20 minute follow-along workouts, 4 skills clinics, a nutrition plan, workout calendar and mental strategies to help turn you into the rider you’ve always wanted to be.

If you are like most riders the answer to that question is “yes”. Even with the best of intentions it can be hard to overcome the two biggest hurdles facing the rider wanting to improve their fitness and skill levels.
I know this because I have been in the unique position of corresponding with hundreds of riders around the world about their training programs. Over the years I have received a lot of emails from riders who really want to get started with a training program but they can’t seem to find the time and motivation to actually follow through on their plans.
This was also a problem I saw in my training facility with new clients and I struggled to figure out why so many of them were having problems staying motivated despite having me there to personally help them. What I started to realized was that they didn’t have the time and, more importantly, the mental energy to process all of the new info at once and I was simply overwhelming them in the process.
You see, I used to treat my new clients like I would someone who bought an online program and give them a manual with a ton of info and a full blown training program to start them off with a bang. I thought that this approach would kick start their progress and get them started off on the right foot but all it really did was overload them and stress them out.
When I saw this pattern repeating itself I decided to try something different. Instead of looking to impress them with everything I knew at once I started to “drip” the info and exercises to them slowly. We introduced one element at a time, gave them a week to put it to use and then we moved on to the next thing.
I told new clients that I wanted them to be under-whelmed by how simple what I was asking them to do was…because then there was no excuse not to do it.
This approach worked much better than just giving them all of the info at once and more riders were able to be more consistent and get better results from their workout programs. This “drip method” approach works so much better for two important reasons…
First, most people simply don’t have the time and, more importantly, the mental energy to sit down and go through a lot of info at once. If you invest in a program that includes everything you need to be a better rider it can take a while before you are able to put everything together and get started. Even if it is the best material in the world, if you can’t find the time and mental energy to go through all of it you can’t put it to use.
Second, if you know exactly what to do and that it is possible for you can accomplish it your motivation levels will stay much higher. Once you are asked to do one simple thing at a time you’ll feel more confident and motivated. I found that a lot of times a lack of motivation is really just a form of frustration that stems from not knowing exactly what to do or feeling that you can’t realistically do everything being asked of you.
This means that by “dripping” the info over the course of several weeks you are able to find the time to go over it (weekly lessons take less than 10-15 minutes) and you’ll know exactly what you need to focus on over the next week, making you more confident that you can do it. As you accomplish one small thing at a time these small victories add up over the long run to keep your motivation levels high and your results coming.
The funny thing about motivation levels and results is that they feed off of each other. Nothing keeps you motivated like seeing results, and nothing gets you better results than being motivated during your training.
While I knew this approach worked much better in my training facility I was not able to translate it as well through my online programs. While I have worked hard to create some of the easiest programs to understand and get started with it still wasn’t the same, as evidenced by the feedback I would get from a rider admitting that he had not been able to start the workouts because of a lack of – you guessed it – time and motivation.
After brainstorming this idea for several months I came up with a radically different approach to the problem, and the all new Time Crunched Trail Rider Solution was born. This 12 week course will take advantage of this “drip method” and will deliver a weekly lesson that will systematically cover strength training, skills drills, nutritional strategies and mental prep – basically everything you need to become a significantly better rider in bite sized pieces.
Week 1: Phase 1 Follow-Along Warm Up and Workout Videos.
Week 2: Applying the 80/20 Rule to Nutrition. The first step to understanding nutrition is to simplify it. This lesson covers the the all important 80/20 Rule, which tells us that about 80% of your results come from 20% of the things you do. Once you know the 20% of things you need to focus on to with your nutrition you will see maximum results with the least amount of effort.
Week 3: Basic and Advanced Body Position Skills Clinic. This lesson will cover everything you need to know about Body Position on the bike, including advanced tips on how to “screw” your hands and feet into the bike for added stability and strength.
Week 4: Creating a Growth Mindset for long term success. This lesson will cover the idea of a Growth Mindset and how you need to approach this journey so that you maximize your results and minimize your frustrations.
Week 5: Phase 2 Follow-Along Warm Up and Workout Videos.

Week 7: Basic and Advanced Pedal Stroke Clinic. This lesson will cover everything you need to know about your Pedal Stroke, including the critical differences between standing and seated pedaling plus how to improve your standing pedaling to the point that it is a “go to” position instead of something you avoid at all costs.

Week 12: Mental preparation for maximum performance. This lesson will cover mental prep strategies to help you focus before you need to perform, be it in the gym, on the trail or in life.
What’s more, the workouts will use a follow-along format where I will personally lead you and motivate you through the workouts. All you have to do is hit play and follow along as I give you a short description of the exercises we will be doing – including common mistakes to avoid – and then lead you through the workout. All you have to do is focus on the coaching cues I cover and then follow along, nothing could be easier.
These workouts are 20 minute condensed versions of my popular MTB Kettlebell Conditioning Program. This means that all you need is a single kettlebell to do all of the workouts (12 kg Kettlebell for Women and 16 kg Kettlebell for Men is most common). However, while I demonstrate the workouts using a kettlebell all of the workouts can be done with a dumbbell as well, making “lack of equipment” an unrealistic excuse.
Now, I’ll be honest with you – 20 minute workouts can not deliver the same results as a 60 minute workout can…but you can still get 80% of the results, which is pretty impressive.
According to 80/20 Rule, about 80% of your results come from 20% of the things you do. So, even if you admit that 20 minutes workouts aren’t “as good” as 60 minute workouts you still get a pretty amazing return on your time investment. In fact, you can get actually get better results from this approach than someone who spends more overall time training but less time on the all important 20%.
Each month you will get a new warm up drill and 2-3 new strength & cardio workouts, adding levels of complexity as you are ready for them and allowing you to feel confident during your workouts. This makes the workouts a lesson in focus and not a quiz to see how many new things you can remember. Nothing is a frustrating as feel overwhelmed during a workout and with this proven approach you can be sure you’ll never feel that way again.
In addition to the workouts and other lessons you will also get access to the exclusive forum on my Personal Coaching Members website, giving you direct access to me so I can personally answer all of you workout and training questions. If you have a question about anything you come across in your workouts or the other weekly lessons just post post it in the forum and I will get to it ASAP. I even let you link to videos of you doing an exercise for me to give you feedback on your form.
Together with the follow-along workouts and video lessons it is like having me as your coach, personally leading you through the process to maximize your results. You will have everything you need to become a much improved rider being delivered to you in small, easily implemented “drips” with me there to ensure your success. At the end of the 12 weeks you will get a copy of the links to all of the lessons so that you can access them again at any time.
12 weeks with a regular personal trainer will run you well over $1000, and that doesn’t include mountain bike specific workouts, skills lessons and mental prep techniques. Even at my facility you would have paid $891 for a 12 week program, and that didn’t include having me there to personally lead you through the workouts and answer all your questions.
This makes the Time Crunched Trail Rider Solution a steal at only $97 $47. That works out to about $4 a week to gain access to this ride changing program. Since you are the most important “component” on the bike it is by far the best investment you can make in your riding – it is everything the Time Crunched Trail Rider needs to ride faster, longer and with more confidence on the trail.
Remember too that you have a 60 day money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose…
